Star Watch starts at Main Car Park in Chopwell Woodland Park. High Spen, Chopwell, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, and Newcastle are the nearest towns or villages.
Chopwell Woodland Park is signposted from High Spen village near Gateshead.
