Bat Walk

Batty about bats? Then this night-time wander to spot Chopwell's flying mammals is for you! Don't forget a torch. The walk meets at Lintzford lay-by on the A694, one mile west of Rowlands Gill. How to get there:

Bat Walk starts at A694 Lintzford Lay-by in Chopwell Woodland Park. , Bat Walk starts at one mile west of Rowlands Gill in Chopwell Woodland Park. High Spen, Chopwell, Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, and Newcastle are the nearest towns or villages.

Chopwell Woodland Park is signposted from High Spen village near Gateshead.
