About Little Explorers
Lively sessions for those who are a little older and 'wiser'. The programme is similar to Babes in the Wood, but walks may be slightly longer. There's plenty of scope to use your imagination out and about and back in the classroom. Fun filled 90 minutes for children and their carers. Refreshments are included.
Series 1 - 1st, 8th, 22nd February and 1st March.
Series 2 - 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th March.
How to get there:
Little Explorers starts at Education Centre in Alice Holt Forest Centre which is part of Alice Holt Forest. Farnham is the nearest town or village.
How to get there: How to get there: From the A31 turn off at Farnham onto the A325. Stay on the A325 for approximately 3 miles. From Portsmouth and Petersfield take the A325 towards Farnham. At the Halfway House Pub on the A325 turn off the main road following signs for Alice Holt Forest. The entrance is 300 yards along this road on the left. The nearest station is at Bentley. From here you can walk through Alice Holt Forest to the Forest Centre along public rights of way. Alternatively take the train to Farnham and catch a bus to Bucks Horn Oak. The Education Centre is located adjacent to the second car park you come to after entering the Forest Centre.
