Deer Safari

Calling all early risers! A dawn trip into the forest for a fantastic opportunity to spot Kielder's roe deer, when they are most active. Learn more about deer and their management from one of the Forestry Commission's rangers, followed by breakfast at the Duke's Pantry, Kielder Castle. Please note this event includes minibus transport into the forest and walking routes over rough terrain. As a result, when booking please state if you have any access requirements and we will endeavour to accomodate them.

How to get there:

Deer Safari starts at Kielder Castle Visitor Centre in Kielder which is part of Kielder. Kielder Village near Bellingham is the nearest town or village.

From South West via Newcastleton, the North via Hawick or the East via Bellingham
