Get Walking - Health Walks

Free health walks are being run every Wednesday lasting about 45 minutes taking in some of the newly surfaced trails through the beautiful Fineshade Woods.
Health walks are a great way to get active, improve your physical health and well-being and can also make you new friends – especially as we can stop for a drink and a chat in the café afterwards.
Woods are great places for exercise and, as well as being good for the body, they are good for the soul. Research has shown time and time again that woods can help reduce stress levels and boost morale.
The walks are open to all ages and abilities and by sticking to the surfaced trails you don’t even need hiking boots – just sensible outdoor footwear and you could even push round a pushchair or buggy. And even the car parking will be free for those taking part so there’s really no excuse not to come along and join in.
