A Walk Back in Time
 

Join Forest District Manager Kevin Stannard for a gentle walk to discover the fascinating history of this ancient woodland, which contains medieval wood banks, the remains of a very large Roman building, and much more.

How to get there: On the A47 heading towards Leicester, after Wansford, follow the road for about two miles or so. You will see a turn to Wittering on your right. Once you pass this, look out for a Farm Access sign pointing left. Go left down this track. Very shortly on the left you will see the parking area, by a gate and fence.
