Scrufts. starts at Guisborough Forest & Walkway Visitor Centre in Guisborough Forest. Guisborough is the nearest town or village.
The visitor centre is situated about a mile west of Guisborough near the village of Pinchinthorpe. It is sign posted off the A173 just south of the junction with the A171.
