Black Cycle Route
A circular route of varied surfaces and in parts some steep ascents and descents. High levels of skill and off-road experience with high endurance fitness required. The route is waymarked with the black arrows on posts. PLEASE NOTE THIS CYCLE ROUTE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO HARVESTING OPERATIONS.
How to get there:
Black Cycle Route can be started from Guisborough Forest and Walkway Visitor Centre in Guisborough Forest. Guisborough is the nearest town or village.
The entrance to the visitor centre is about 300 metres along the A173 for its junction with the A171 just west of Guisborough. The entrance is signed.
