The Forest @ Work
 

See the giant state-of-the-art machines at work felling, processing and forwarding trees in the forest. You will be transported via minibus to a harvesting site and gain a rare opportunity to peep behind the scenes and find out how we balance timber production with the needs of conservation and recreation.
Some short walking may be required. NOTES ON GRADE OF WALK, TERRAIN ETC. Not likely to be suitable for wheelchairs. Possibly robust pushchair (folding for minibus) but see age limit.
