Sneverdale Rigg Rabbit Run

A pleasant walk from the visitor centre with the chance that you may see deer at the viewpoint.  The walk takes you past a 'rabbit type', an important part of the history of the Dalby area when rabbits were farmed for fur.  Some steep slopes.

How to get there:

Sneverdale Rigg Rabbit Run can be started from Dalby Forest Visitor Centre and Shop in Dalby Forest. Thornton-le-Dale is the nearest town or village.

Follow directions for Dalby Forest given on the Dalby Forest page. The Visitor Centre is located approximately one and a half miles from the entrance to the forest.
