Dalby Fungus Forage
 

Learn about the many types of fungi that grow in the forest during the autumn, with the help of knowledgeable wildlife rangers. A superb opportunity for an autumn stroll in a forest rich in fungi.

How to get there: By car. Leave the A170 Scarborough to Thirsk road at Thornton le Dale 14 miles west of Scarborough. Take the road to Whitby. The entrance to the forest is signed about one and a half miles from Thornton le Dale. Follow the Forest Drive to Haygate Car Park and the Visitor Centre.
