Easy Access Trail

This trail is a loosely shaped figure of eight providing two loops of 0.5 miles each or a single loop of 1 mile.

The trail encompasses a variety of habitats including broadleaved woodland, mature conifer and two wildlife ponds on an all weather, easy access surface.

There are two picnic tables and a number of seats along the route.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ALONG THE ACCESS TO THE FOREST BARRIER AT VINNALLS CAR PARK AS TIMBER WAGONS WILL BE USING THIS ROUTE.

How to get there:

Easy Access Trail can be started from High Vinnalls Car Park in Mortimer Forest which is part of The Marches. Aston is the nearest town or village.

From Ludlow head out of town on the B4361, take the turning on the right just over the bridge sign posted for the Forestry Commission. High Vinnalls car park is about 2.5 miles along this road towards Wigmore.
