Black Route
 

Hopton's most exciting downhill runs are for the seasoned mountain bikers only. The berms, descents, jumps and turns will test the skills of even the most experienced riders in search of thrills. A waterproof mountain bike trail guide is available for £1 and available from the Secret Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms or from the Forestry Commission's District Office please ring 01889 586593 for details.

How to get there:

Black Route can be started from Hopton Wood Car Park in Hopton Wood which is part of The Marches. Hopton Castle is the nearest town or village.

Hopton Wood is situated eight miles west of Craven Arms, off the B4385 to Clun adjacent to the village of Hopton Castle.
