This cycle trail is designed for touring bikes and uses the forest road to link Bury Ditches car park and the Colstey entrance on the A488.

The Bury Ditches car park has bike stands to enable cyclist to secure their bikes whilst they visit the hill fort.

How to get there:

Cycle Link can be started from Bury Ditches Hill Fort Car Park in Bury Ditches And Colstey Wood which is part of The Marches. Clun is the nearest town or village.

Located down a country lane between Clunton and Lydbury North, the woodland is signposted from the B4368 and B4385.

What to see now
Bury Ditches is home to one of the best-preserved hill forts in the country, dating from about 500BC. The spectacular 360 degree views from the top make the steady climb worthwhile. Lock your bike at the bike stands in the car park and take the detour on foot.
