This walk along gravel tracks passes through a variety of habitats in the Ober valley - heathland with gorse and bog, grassland, natural and formerly enclosed woodland and the stream itself. All have been shaped by grazing. The Paths are a mixture of moderatly smooth gravelled surfaces and compacted grassy gorund with some gentle slopes and a few resting places.

Ober Water Walk (yellow route) can be started from Whitefield Moor in New Forest. Brockenhurst is the nearest town or village.
By car: From Brockenhurst follow the signs to the Rhinefield Drive, Go past the turning for Aldridge Hill campsite and Whitefield Moor car park is the next turning on the right handside.
