Squirrel Scamper
 

The Squirrel Scamper is an orienteering course aimed to introduce children to basic orienteering skills, map reading and searching out marker posts. A user friendly and colourful map is provided along with a crayon and sticker A perfect way to keep children entertained !

How to get there:

Squirrel Scamper can be started from High Lodge Forest Centre in Thetford Forest Park. Brandon is the nearest town or village.

The forest drive and entrance is located on the B1107 Thetford to Brandon Road. approximately 4 miles from Thetford and half a mile from Brandon. Follow the Forest Toll Road for about 1½ miles and you will enter the car parking area. A forest toll applies. (Post code IP27 0AF)

What's of interest
Squirrel Scamper sheets are priced at £1 each and are available from High Lodge Forest Centre. Alternatively, schools can purchase them at a reduced rate when buying in bulk, priced 50p a copy. Please contact the Recreation Department on 01842 816031 for more details. Approach High Lodge Forest Centre by the scenic forest drive. A small toll is levied at the entrance.
