What's of interest
Throughout the Middle Ages and until the beginning of the 20th Century, Breckland was one of the most important areas in Britain for the commercial farming of rabbits for their meat and fur. Mildenhall Warren Lodge, restored by Friends with grants of £50,000 is one of two warren lodges to survive as a standing building, the other is Thetford Warren Lodge.
