In December 1980 several sightings of a UFO were reported in Rendlesham Forest. Many people think these mysterious events are the most significant UFO incident to have occured in the UK. There is no tangible evidence on the ground, but following the trail with the help of our leaflet and your imagination, an intriguing picture can be painted.

How to get there:

UFO Trail can be started from Rendlesham Forest Centre in Rendlesham Wood. Woodbridge is the nearest town or village.

Follow the B1084 Woodbridge to Orford road. Rendlesham Forest Centre is approx 4 miles along this road on the right hand side.

Hi Simon Down loaded map, OK as I live local. Took 7 year old twins on the trail.They collected all the symbols from the posts but what do they mean? Office shut can't find it on the WEB. Where do we find the answer to the symbols? Regards John

Would have been a 5 star if the office was open to get the trail guide. As it had been raining earlier in the day, we were left to walk unaided. Excellent imaginative play equipment there which is very under advertised!
