Red Trail

This trail runs along variable tracks with occasional benches. It passes through a conifer plantation, mixed woodland, Beech avenues,recently planted woodland, past the 'grandparent' Oak and past the pond. All in just two miles!

How to get there:

Red Trail can be started from Bacton Woods Car Park in Bacton Wood. North Walsham is the nearest town or village.

Bacton Wood is found between the B1159 at Bacton and North Walsham.

The Red Trail goes through the central and southern areas of the woodland which was formally heathland. Look out for heather, broom and gorse.
