Follow the ‘Wisty the Woodmouse’ Orienteering trail and try your hand at building a shelter from natural materials found in the woods!

How to get there:

Shelter Building and Orienteering starts at Discovery Centre in Wistlandpound. Barnstaple, Ilfracombe, Lynton, and Blackmoor Gate are the nearest towns or villages.

Travelling on the A39 between Barnstaple and Lynton or the A399 from Ilfracome/Combe Martin, at Blackmoor Gate junction take the A399 towards South Molton. After 3/4 miles turn right (signposted Wistlandpound reservoir) and follow for 1 mile to find carpark on the left.
