The Deer Rut
 

SORRY, FULLY BOOKED!
Take a minibus safari with our ranger into the forest, then walk - over rough ground in places - to see and hear the rut of our rare Black Fallow Deer, seen in the picture here.
This will be followed by a well deserved full breakfast at a local establishment (vegetarian option available).

How to get there: Travelling by car turn off the A38 at Exeter Racecourse and follow the signs for Haldon Forest Park. The office entrance is signposted further along the road on the left, before you reach the Gateway car park. Follow the road until it swings around to the right - you will see the office and car park in front of you.
