About Freer Mountain Bike Area

Haldon Forest Park is the perfect environment for sports riders.

This highly technical trail incorporates rock gardens, berms and steep descents. Only for experienced riders with appropriate bikes and protective equipment.

Please note that the Freeride Area has now been closed. The Freer Ride Trail remains open while work continues on the new technical mountain biking trail.

How to get there:

Freer Mountain Bike Area can be started from Haldon Gateway in Haldon Forest Park. Exeter is the nearest town or village.

Travelling by car turn off the A38 at Exeter Racecourse and follow the signs for Haldon Forest Park. The Haldon Gateway Car Park is signposted further along the road on the left.
