The Birthday Walk - A National Forest Walk
 

The Birthday Walk has been specially perpared in celebration of the first decade, 1995 - 2005, of the National Forest Company. It takes in 12 National Forest sites, starting at Sence Valley Forest Park. With a choice of a number of short loops off the main route, links to other footpaths and a number of nearby shops and pubs, The Birthday Walk is also an ideal outdoor activity for family outings, birthdays and celebrations.

How to get there:

The Birthday Walk - A National Forest Walk can be started from Sence Valley Forest Park in Sence Valley which is part of The National Forest. Ibstock and Heather are the nearest towns or villages.

On the A447 Ravenstone Road just North of Ibstock.
