Revelin Moss Trail Orienteering Course

Europe's first permanent trail orienteering course. Control cards can be hired for a small charge from Whinlatter Visitor Centre. The trail follows gravel paths suitable for pushchair and wheelchair. The challenge is to map control points onto the control card without leaving the trail.

How to get there:

Revelin Moss Trail Orienteering Course can be started from Revelin Moss in Whinlatter Forest Park. Keswick is the nearest town or village.

Road:- From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.

Bus:- Bus from Keswick.

Train:- Nearest station is Penrith (25 miles east) on the west coast mainline.
