Revelin Moss Trail
 

The mighty Grisedale Pike dominates Revelin Moss, eventhough the area provides some of the easiest walking in the forest. The trail follows the quiet activity of Grisedale Gill, through mature conifers and areas of silver birch regeneration. The route returns via a bridge over the Gill and there are numerous resting places on route. Maps for this trail are available at the visitor centre.

How to get there:

Revelin Moss Trail can be started from Revelin Moss in Whinlatter Forest Park. Keswick is the nearest town or village.

Road:-, From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts., Bus:-, Bus from Keswick., Train:-, Nearest station is Penrith (25 miles east) on the west coast mainline.
