Kielder Wildlife Month
 

 Roe buck.1 May to 31 May 2008

Building on the success of the inaugural Wildlife Week in 2007, this year a whole month of events to celebrate spring in Kielder Water and Forest Park is being planned. Walks with wildlife experts to spot some of Kielder’s more elusive inhabitants include early morning safaris to spot roe deer and listen to the forest’s bird life exercising their lungs to evening adventures to track down badgers and bats. The month ends with a Family Wildlife Day at Leaplish Waterside Park organised by Northumberland Wildlife Trust.
