Thanks to All Who helped

Whinlatter altura trail Clixby TeamThe Forestry Commission is very grateful to Altura and to the North West Regional Development Agency  for helping to fund the trail and Centre redevelopment

The trails were built by Hugh Clixby who has previously constructed trails at Dalby in North Yorkshire and Cannock Forest in the West Midlands. Combined with the Go Ape the project has cost £500,000 and lead to the creation of up to 10 new jobs  and safeguarding 12 existing jobs.
