Wood product imports in 2012 were valued at a total of £6.4 billion, a 6% decrease from the level in 2011 (Table 3.6).

Pulp and paper (including recovered paper) comprised two thirds of the total value of wood product imports in 2012, 17% was sawnwood, 12% wood-based panels and 4% other wood.
