Wood-based panels

Table 2.22 and Figure 2.4 show the inputs to the 7 mills that produce wood-based panels in the UK. The mills used a total of 4.1 million tonnes of material in 2011, unchanged from 2010. The inputs in 2011 comprised 1.4 million tonnes of roundwood (34%), 1.8 million tonnes of sawmill products (43%) and 1.0 million tonnes of recycled wood fibre (23%).
