Data and Inventory outputs

The National Forest Inventory will provide key data and information about Britain’s forests and woodlands. It will include details such as the area, distribution, composition and condition of woodlands, together with information about the species, ages and sizes of trees.

There will be a number of different outputs from the National Forest Inventory, including a woodland map and woodland area statistics for Great Britain, together with summary reports and forecasts and scenarios.
