Education experts from across Wales gathered in St Mellons in late October 2010 to celebrate 10 Years of Forest School in Wales.
The two day event mixed presentations, workshops and speakers representing the past 10 years with innovative ways to collate thoughts on how Forest School could develop in the next 10 years.
Research (PDF) from a year long forest school programme with Ysgol Llanfair, Ruthin, Denbighshire was launched and the conference was pleased to welcome early years experts Magnus and Siw Linde from Sweden who gave a very interesting presentation on the Rain and Shine nurseries where pre school children spend all day outside in all weathers.
