The Teversal Trails Team
This group, led by Vince Lennox, are out every Thursday morning. The tasks are mainly along the trails network and include path clearance, coppicing, scything and maintenance work. The Friends of Sherwood Heath, Cockglode & Rotary Woods
The Friends of Sherwood Heath, Cockglode & Rotary Woods are a group involved in the management of the three sites. The group run a practical session every second tuesday of the month. Tasks include gorse and hazel coppicing, birch tree removal, heather scrapes, Himalayan Balsam removal amongst other things. There is always something to do. Woodland Workout in Lincolnshire
Sessions will be held at Osgodby Wood near Market Rasen on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month and at Great West Wood near Wragby on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. They will run from 10am to 1pm.
Tasks will include restoring heathland, burning brash, digging ditches, ride widening, dead hedging, coppicing, scrub clearance, fence removal and pond maintenance.
