Business and Markets

Softwood processing at Deffer Wood, Kirklees, West Yorkshire. Promoting economic growth while reducing our carbon footprint is at the top of the Government’s agenda. This means that the policy environment for businesses that use trees, woods and forests is very favourable.

To develop a range of business models that improve the opportunities for woodland owners to pursue viable woodland management.
