Growing Adventures Stoke Park

“Growing Adventures in Stoke Park” is a fantastic £55K project aimed at increasing the play oppourtunities in Stoke Park Wood. The Project is part of Eastleigh Borough Council’s “Lets Go Play” portfolio.

Project’s aim:'Wild Play' in the forest - Pulling Faces

The aim of this project is to increase the play value of formal and informal play activities already taking place in Stoke Park Woods. Natural Play is widely accepted to have inumerable postive effects of children, physically, socially, emotionally and creatively. The Project will bring all the benefits associated with rural play to children living in an urban environment.

There has been great support from the local community for this project and we will be holding open consultation events to ensure this involvement continues.

Stoke Park is also part of the Sense and Motion Project, which includes a programme of free woodland activities and events.
