There is plenty of space for adventurous natural play at High Lodge Forest Centre. The large grass arena provides room for footballs and frisbees and is directly in front of the High Lodge Forest Centre. The Sculpture trail will lead you past Giant animal sculptures with plenty of opportunities to play in the forest along the way. You can Follow the Sound trail through the forest and help the Rangers build a 'dead hedge'. Or you can find your way through the trees following the Squirrel Scamper trail (Squirrel Scamper packs are £2 each from the High Lodge Site Entry & Information Office).
Delve even deeper into the forest and test your map-reading skills on our orienteering course. Special orienteering maps are available from High Lodge Shop, offering a choice of three courses of three different lengths for you to try.
