There is a parking charge per car, £1.50 for 2 hours, £3 for 4 hours or £5.50 for an all day stay.  Pay & display machines can be found at the entrance to the woods and within the main car park.  Please note that unfortunately these machines are unable to provide change and change is not available on-site. Visit England recommend a visit of about 4 hours.

A ‘Discovery Pass’ will let you show your support for your local forest. It will give you and your family free car parking at your local forest, a seasonal e-newsletter, and discounts and vouchers for shops and activities on and off site. A Discovery Pass is available for £37 a year. Click Discovery Pass for more information.  Disabled blue badge holders park for free.

Toilets

Toilets are available on-site, open at all times that the Forest Drive is open. There is also an additional block adjacent to the main block, open during school and public holidays. There are accessible toilets and baby change, feminine and nappy bins on-site.

Café

The Café in the woods serves a variety of home produced and locally sourced food and drink. It is open 364 days a year, closed Christmas Day.

Childrens Play

The Childrens Play area is set amongst the trees with challenges for children of most ages and abilities.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome in the forest everywhere except the Children's Play Area. Please bear in mind the area around the Café in the Woods is used by many people and for their consideration, please consider putting your dog on a lead.

Dogs in the wider woods must be under control at all times (if it is out of your sight it is not under control).

Facilities for the less able

Wendover Woods is wheelchair accessible and has fully accessible toilet facilities. An easy access trail is available from close to the central area and runs through the woods, taking in the highest point in the Chilterns. There isn't a view at the highest point but continue round the trail and you won't be disappointed when you reach our viewpoint. Dedicated disabled parking is also available.  Blue badge holders park for free.
