Our rangers are also trained Forest School practitioners and will be happy to offer support and guidance to schools wishing to run a Forest School . If you are interested in developing a forest school, we may be able to offer you a site in one of our neighbouring forests.
Whinlatter forest offers a range of opportunities for self-led visits, including WildPlay, Orienteering and Children's trails. These also make a great addition to a ranger-led session, to maximise the benefit from your visit.
