Various sets of indicators have been developed to provide information about the present state, and trends over time, of woodlands and their management. Indicators related to woodland can also feature in sets of indicators for sustainable development, the environment, biodiversity and climate change.
These sets of indicators may include statistics published elsewhere, but may also include important aspects for which good information is not yet available.
