An unexpected visitor - a Pine Marten at the squirrel feeder.
This first feed for the newborn chicks went splendidly - so much so that the wee ones found it a bit much, as this clip shows!

The two clips below were taken on a very blustery day at the start of May 2009. Our poor Peregrine loses its dignity a little when it is tumbled head over heels by the wind - but in the second clip, look out for a little white chick head that peeks over the grass when its parent is blown off the nest again. The parent checks the chick is OK before settling back down on the nest.
