Harvesting at Bedgebury

January - March 2012A John Deere 1470D wheeled harvester in operation in a stand of Scots pine.

Timber harvesting is taking place in Bedgebury Forest between January and March 2012.

Harvesting is an integral part of forest life.  We ask our contractors to be conscious of holidays and busy periods and very aware of the cycle trails.  We have included measures in their contract to alleviate as much damage as possible.

Please be extra careful when you're in the forest, follow any diversion signs. and keep at least 100 metres away from any harvesting equipment.

Thank you for your co-operation and apologies for any disruption to your visit
