Dalby Visitor Centre

Dalby Forest Visitor Centre

On the 2nd of April 2007 the new eco-friendly visitor centre officially opened.  This building is one of the Forestry Commission’s first visitor centres with sustainability as its main focus.

The Visitor Centre contains an information desk and shop, a conference / function room, Treetops Restaurant, an exhibition area and toilets. 

The conference / function room has an 80 seater capacity, a multi meadia projector and two mobile flip chart easels, and for lunches / functions there is an on site catering facility.  For enquiries and bookings please contact the Buisness Centre Manager.

Dalby Courtyard was developed as part of the Dalby Project and has craft units, offices, Purple Mountain Bike Centre and cafe, toilets and the Community Resource Centre, which can be booked for meetings / functions.

Friends of Dalby Forest

The Friends of Dalby Forest aim to increase knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of Dalby and the surrounding forests, as well as encourage the involvement of the local community. The committee are there to represent Members and to provide the best facilities possible for all who use the Forest.
