What's here?

CCTV cameras show the Peregrines and other wildlife in the quarry.

  • The Huntly Peregrines blog is the place to keep up to date with the breeding season. Regular updates are posted and you can add any comments or questions.
  • Keep an eye on the Peregrines with our webcam.
  • Check out our picture of the month.

The centre

Experts are on hand to give advice on the Peregrines, their life cycle and other local wildlife.

Facilities

On-site an interpretative cabin provides live pictures and sound from the quarry where the birds nest.

Alternatively, you can view the birds at first hand from our quarry hide.  Follow the short trails to the hide and use the telescopes or binoculars provided. Those less-able can take a car up to the hide (only two cars allowed due to the steep incline to the quarry).

  • small bird feeding station with camera links;
  • pond with picnic area;
  • car park (including disabled parking/ bus parking);
  • toilets (including disabled toilet); and
  • stunning scenery of Deveron valley and surrounding hills.

Can I bring my dog?

The nature of the WildWatch site is such that, unfortunately, we cannot allow any dogs other than assistance dogs beyond the car park.
