Westonbirt Arboretum has a cafe, restaurant and a picnic area: choose either Maples Restaurant, for a hot meal, dine al fresco with a snack from our Courtyard Café or bring your own picnic to enjoy in the open air.
Maples Restaurant
Maples Restaurant is a purpose-built facility, with great views of Silk Wood. There is an indoor seating capacity of around 100, with an extra 200 seats on the sunny decking area.
A good selection of hot and cold beverages (including wine and beers) and home-made cakes and biscuits, is served from 10am to 5pm.
The restaurant is self-service and a selection of hot meals, sandwiches and soup is available between 12noon and 2pm. The menu consists of a meat, fish or vegetarian dish, varied from day to day. All our dishes are made by our chefs using local produce.
Sample menu:
Soup of the day: Tuscan tomato – served with roll and butter
Meat dish: Breast of chicken stuffed with stilton, pine nuts & crispy pancetta
Fish dish: Salmon en croute, with beurre blanc sauce
Vegetarian dish: Vegetable cassoulet
Sunday roasts are also available
All of these dishes are served with seasonal vegetables and new potatoes (salad during summer months). There are smaller portions of the hot food for children, or a children’s packed lunch is available.

Courtyard Café
The Courtyard Café is situated near to Maples, with outside seating for up to 100 people and some shelter for wet days. The café serves hot and cold beverages from 10am to 5pm, with a good selection of home-made cakes and snacks.
The Courtyard Café is closed from Christmas until Easter.
Picnic Area
The picnic area is set amongst the trees, there are picnic benches and tables close to the main parking area.
