Brit Award winners JLS - Friday 16th July SOLD OUT

Brit Award winners, JLS, the most successful new group of 2009, will be playing a special forest concert this summer, at Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucestershire, as part of Forestry Commission Live Music.
JLS have had a phenomenal 12 months. Their first two singles 'Beat Again' and 'Everybody In Love' debuted at No 1. Their debut self-titled album released in November 2009 entered the charts at No 1 and has sold well over a million copies and their new single 'One Shot' which is out February 22nd through Epic Records, is currently proving another hit with radio stations across the UK.
As well as outstanding record sales, JLS have been picking up awards along the way including two MOBOs for Best Newcomer and Best Song for 'Beat Again' and two 2010 Brit Awards for British Breakthrough Act and British Single for 'Beat Again.'

One of the most significant bands of the popular music era, Blondie emerged from New York’s celebrated new wave scene producing innovative music and scoring major hits worldwide with rock/disco, reggae and hip-hop songs. One of Britain's best loved bands has announced a West Country date for the summer. The legendary Status Quo will be appearing at Westonbirt Arboretum as part of Forestry Commission Live Music.
Status Quo have become a rock'n'roll institution. A prolific touring and recording act, they have accumulated total world-wide record sales exceeding 118 million units, with 29 of their 39 album releases making the UK top 20. Classic hits like ‘Caroline’, ‘Down Down’, ‘Rockin’ All Over The World’, ‘Whatever You Want’ and ‘In The Army Now’ contribute to a presence of over seven and a half years on the British singles chart.

James Morrison Playing At Westonbirt - Sunday 18th July
Following on from his first UK arena tour, James Morrison has announced he will be performing a couple of 2010 concerts as part of Forestry Commission Live Music where artists perform in spectacular woodland locations around the country.
James Morrison’s debut album ‘Undiscovered’ established him as an undeniably talented singer-songwriter. It has sold over two million copies yielding no fewer than five singles – ‘You Give Me Something’, ‘Wonderful World’, ‘The Pieces Don’t Fit Anymore’, ‘Undiscovered’ and ‘One Last Chance’. James was the biggest selling British male solo artist of 2006 and Brit Award winner in the Best Male category in 2007.
James’s second million plus selling album, 'Songs For You, Truths For Me' continues on the success of his first. Still in the charts over a year since its release it includes the hit singles ‘You Make It Real’, 'Please Don't Stop The Rain' and 'Broken Strings' featuring Nelly Furtado.

Keane have announced a tour of spectacular woodland locations next summer as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music series.

One of the most popular bands of the past 25 years, Simply Red, has announced a series of dates in spectacular woodland locations next summer as part of Forestry Commission Live Music.
Fronted by the unmistakable Mick Hucknall, a catalogue of hit singles like ‘Holding Back The Years’, ‘Something Got Me Started’, ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’, ‘For Your Babies’, ‘Fairground’, ‘Angel’, ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye’ established Simply Red’s superstar status across the globe. Classic albums like ‘Picture Book’, ‘A New Flame’, ‘Stars’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Home’ formed part of the record collection for a whole generation.
