Information for quad and scramble bike users


Do you own a quad bike, scramble bike or mini-moto?  Fancy taking a ride round your local woodland?  Be careful - you might be riding illegally!

The only places that you are allowed to use these vehicles are on dedicated sites, or where you have received permission from the landowner.  

While it is illegal to ride your vehicle on Forestry Commission Scotland land, and anyone caught doing so can be reported to the police, there are a growing number of locations where you are allowed to go.

 C/o Cardenbarns Farm, Cardenden.  Contact club Chairman James Fleming on 01592 722084.  The club wishes to provide a safe, supervised environment for Motocross and Quad ATV use as well as trying to discourage the use of these vehicles on private or public roads or walkways.

North Lanarkshire Scramble and Quad Bike Club 

The club is working together with Strathclyde Police and the Scottish Auto-Cycle Union to educate their young riders on how to ride their bike or quad responsibly and to provide a place of safety where they can pursue their sport.   See  www.nlsqbc.com for more information.
