Health and Safety

You are responsible for bringing enough competent adult helpers to satisfy your LEA requirements. We recommend that for a Ranger-led session, you bring one adult for every six children.

The Ranger will carry out a risk assessment for Ranger-led activities.  You will be able to request a copy of the risk assessment when you complete the booking form.

You will be responsible for completing your own risk assessments for any self-led parts of your visit and for the journey to and from the site.

The Ranger will carry a first aid kit, but you will be reponsible for bringing any special medical equipment required by the children eg inhalers.

Children and adults must wear appropriate clothing for the weather and the time of year.
