- Has a leadership role promoting and generating development initiatives, lobbying for the region and acting as a communication conduit for land based interests for The Agricultural Forum ,a regional land based interest group that seeks to sustain agriculture and crofting in Argyll.
- Project initiatives include the development of collaborative initiatives such as Argyll Food Producers - Food From Argyll, Argyll Hill Lamb, Working Farm Woodlands
Grew up on Family Farm near Stirling, Degree in Countryside and Environmental Management from Aberdeen University - Previously worked with the Scottish Agricultural College to deliver Agricultural Forum initiatives.
- Began working career as an Area officer for Scottish Natural Heritage working with goose management schemes, SSSI woodland management and agricultural issues.
