The South Cumbria team are based at Grizedale near Hawkshead, Ambleside. They are responsible for the management of Grizedale Forest Park, the Visitor Centre and associated Education and Recreation Services. In addition the team manages the forests of Chapel House, High Loft, Canny Hill, Linsty Green, Old Hall Wood Bouth, Bessy Bank, Low Dale Park, Claife, Sawrey Ground, Hardknott, Broughton Moor & Rainsbarrow. They manage the recreation facilities in the forest and at Grizedale Visitor Centre and run the events and education programmes. They work closely with the other businesses on site including the cafe, bike hire and GoApe!.
