Siskins cafe provides the visitor with great view of Grisedale Pike and sumptuous food. With an alpine style and outdoor eating area the cafe is a great place to relax and enjoy the mountain setting.
Offering fabulous range of freshly prepared home cooked food, there is something for everyone, including the adventurous - Parsnip and lemon cake anyone? The cafe welcomes children, high chairs, mountain bikers and has good access for the less able.
On warm days why not sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the mountain fresh air, birdsong and occasional red squirrel. Facing south the balcony enjoys great sunshine and views through the big Douglas fir and larch trees to the mountains beyond.
The Siskins Cafe normal opening times are 10am - 5pm all week however please note our Christmas and New Year 2009/10 opening times below
- Open 27th December to the 3rd January.
- Closed 4th January to the 29nd January except 23rd and 24th January when it will be open.
- Reopen as normal from Saturday 30th January.
