By road

From South and East - from M4:

• Leave at junction 24 (M4)
• At roundabout take 4th exit onto the A449 heading towards Monmouth
• Take 3rd exit off A449 sign posted A40 Raglan, Abergavenny
• At Abergavenny continue on the A40 towards Brecon
• Approximately 2 miles after village of Bwlch turn left signposted for Talybont on Usk
• Continue along (station road) to T Junction, turn right, carry on through the village of Talybont until you come to some pink houses on your left with a war memorial cross (Cross hands)
• Turn left signposted for Talybont Reservoir
• Approximately 500 yds take first right up the hill (single-track) lane and first right into yard.

From North and North East - from M5:

• Leave at junction 8 (M5) onto M50
• At the end of M50 join the A40 signposted for Monmouth
• Continue on A40 approx. 17 miles turn off left following signs for Raglan, Abergavenny
• At Abergavenny continue on the A40 towards Brecon
• Approximately 2 miles after village of Bwlch turn left signposted for Talybont on Usk.
• Continue along (station road) to T Junction, turn right
• Carry on through the village of Talybont until you come to some pink houses on your left with a war memorial cross (Cross hands)
• Turn left signposted for Talybont Reservoir
• Approximately 500 yds take first right up the hill (single-track) lane and first right into yard.

From South Wales - from M4:

• Leave at junction 32 (M4) signposted A470 Merthyr Tydfil
• At Merthyr Tydfil carry on the A470 signposted for Brecon
• At roundabout at Brecon take the 4th exit, (Brecon Bypass - dual carriageway)
• Continue to end another roundabout
• Take the 3rd exit signposted for Abergavenny A40
• Continue on the A40 for approx 5 miles take a right turn signposted Talybont on Usk.
• Continue along (station road) to T Junction, turn right, carry on through the village of Talybont until you come to some pink houses on your left with a war memorial cross (Cross hands)
• Turn left signposted for Talybont Reservoir
• Approximately 500 yds take first right up the hill (single-track) lane and first right into yard.

From West Wales - from A40:

• Once you reach Brecon follow the signs for Abergavenny for approximately 5 miles
• Take a left turn off signposted for Talybont on Usk
• Continue along (station road) to T Junction, turn right, carry on through the village of Talybont until you come to some pink houses on your left with a war memorial cross (Cross hands)
• Turn left signposted for Talybont Reservoir
• Approximately 500 yds take first right up the hill (single-track) lane and first right into yard.

From North Wales - from A470 / A40:

• Once you reach Brecon on A40 follow the signs for Abergavenny for approximately 5 miles
• Take a left turn off signposted for Talybont on Usk
• Continue along (station road) to T Junction, turn right, carry on through the village of Talybont until you come to some pink houses on your left with a war memorial cross (Cross hands)
• Turn left signposted for Talybont Reservoir
• Approximately 500 yds take first right up the hill (single-track) lane and first right into yard.

By public transport

• Abergavenny 16 miles to the east
• Merthyr Tydfil 25 miles to the south.

Nearest Airports are Cardiff or Bristol.

There are no buses that come near the research office.
